About this place
Mature trees are scattered across the spacious lawns at Landscape Garden, making it a place to linger as well as to wander. Visitors have described spreading out a picnic sheet and relaxing with a packed lunch. Whether you feel like a leisurely picnic or a walk to see the changing seasons, you can make the visit your own.
During cherry blossom season, visitors have also described strolling beneath branches that reach low overhead, bringing the blossoms closer than the open lawns do. If you stop for a rest on the grass, there is also a neighbouring café where you can choose a drink. One visitor recommends a triple espresso with oat milk. The garden is in Naitōmachi, Shinjuku City. Its listed hours are 9:00 to 18:00, Tuesday to Sunday; it is closed on Mondays.
